Fun Zone

Mason | Age 13, Grade 6

Once upon a time, there was a dimension called the Fun Zone, where the fun was in the zone. In the Fun Zone there was a giant portal, cotton candy clouds, chocolate tower, and the floor was a trampoline.

Here is Sam, the chief of Fun Zone. Here is Bob, the leader of the Giant Black Creatures. The Giant Black Creatures are not that scary. Bob and Sam are best friends.

Before they got their jobs, Sam really wanted a friend, so he tried to find one. He looked high and low, but he couldn’t find one. One day, he found a small Black Creature getting attacked by robotic spiders. Sam fought them all off. Bob said “thank you,” and they became friends. They went to the candy tower and played games together like ring around the candy!

They left the candy tower and went somewhere else: Fun Fair! Together they ride Fun-o-Coaster. But out of nowhere came Cerebrus, King of the robotic spiders! They had to fight him. They found a sword, a shield, a bow and arrow, and a magical wand. They fought him, but Cerberus had magic powers that could make anything come back to life. They used the magical wand to end his powers because he can’t come back to life.

The mayor of Fun Zone saw them and said thank you very much.

The mayor elected Sam the chief of Fun Zone. For the giant black creatures, Bob got elected to lead them. Bob and Sam became best friends and worked together.

Everyone else in Fun Zone felt safer. They felt safer because everyone got along. When everyone gets along, everyone is happy for more opportunities, and that is how Sam and Bob became friends.

That was a hundred years ago, and they’re still friends. Everybody in Fun Zone sometimes gets hurt, but they live forever, though evil magic is still effective on them. But now, it’s time to get to the real story.

Everybody that was living in Fun Zone was living peacefully and calmly, until a dark cloud came over Fun Zone. The chocolate towers started to melt, and so did the chocolate trees. The animals started to fade away, except for the giant black creatures. Then out came Chronos. He used his powers to turn them into shadows, and those shadows turned into people that obeyed Chronos’s orders. Sam saw this, and they grabbed some rope and tied him up and tried to punch him in the face. One of Chronos’s servants then attacked Sam, then Bob attacked the servant with his mighty kick. Bob has super strength, invisibility, and can also use magnet powers.

When someone attacks Bob, he starts to power up. First he curls into a ball, and then he uncurls himself so that his power can come out.

Bob calls on his army! They attacked the servants, then Chronos turned them into shadows, then their shadows turned into people! And then they became Chronos’s servants. Sam uses a magical wand to turn them back, but Chronos turns Sam into a shadow! Then a magical fairy came in and turned Sam back and tied Chronos up because Chronos’s power doesn’t work on fairies. And then Sam unmasked Chronos and it turned out to be his brother. So the candy police arrested Sam’s brother for destruction of property, dark magic, and robbing a museum. Then Bob said, “I’m sorry for you.’’ Sam said, “It’s ok. I didn’t want to see that guy’s face anyway.’’

So the people of Fun Zone rebuilt their town and it was better than ever! And then the portal closed, and nobody will ever, ever leave. Sam was elected mayor, and he gave the chief job to Bob. So then the magic fairy drew a circle around the realm, so that no dark magic will come through. And they all lived happily ever after

I like to read. I think Legos are fun. I would like my reader to know that I am really good at jokes. My favorite thing about writing is making stories. The hardest part about writing is thinking. I chose to write about another dimension because it is interesting.
